Audiology
Specialized assessment and services for hearing conditions and hearing loss
Our full-time audiologist, Robert Furby, M.S., FAAA, assesses hearing loss, hearing damage, sound sensitivities and their cumulative effects on communication abilities. His areas of focus include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, aural rehabilitation, and the effects of music on hearing. Watch his video above.
High-frequency hearing loss is one of the most common forms of hearing loss, and is linked to the inability to accurately identify consonant sounds. In turn, this makes it difficult to understand conversational speech, which can impact your quality of life and relationships with others.
