Robotic-Assisted Surgery
What is Robotic-Assisted Surgery?
Robotic-assisted surgery combines advanced robotic technology with surgical expertise, offering enhanced precision, flexibility, and control compared to traditional techniques.

The system HRRMC works with is the DaVinci 5 system. This system helps our surgeons perform minimally-invasive surgeries and offer them high-definition 3D vision, magnified views, and robotic/computer assistance with precision and reconstruction deep inside of the body.
Note: The use of a robotics system does not take the place of a surgeon; the system assists the surgeon and surgical team in performing surgeries with more precision, technological advances and improvement to patient outcomes.
How do Robotic-Assisted Surgeries work?
A patient goes through all of the same pre-surgical steps they would when receiving laparoscopic or open surgery. Once a patient is prepped and ready in the operating room, their surgeon will make initial, small incisions to start the procedure. Then, the surgeon utilizes the robotics system to perform the surgery using a 3D camera and long, thin, surgical instruments that have a 360-degree range of motion. When the surgery is complete, the surgeon closes all incisions and the patient recovers in the routine process.
